Game 2 Recap
(Albany Indians vs. Southwest Macon Patriots)

The final score does not indicate how the game was played. The game was an all out war until late in the 4th quarter. Late in the 4th quarter, the Indians simply made too many mistakes to keep the ball game close. The Patriots scored first on a 15 yard lead play in the 1st quarter and scored a second touchdown right before half. With the score being 14-0 at half, the Indians came out fired up in the 3rd quarter and scored on their 1st offensive series making the score 14-7. However, on the ensuing kickoff, the Patriots return man ran the ball all the way down to the Indians 20 yard line. The Indians would drive the ball in the 3rd quarter but failed short of the end zone, and the Patriots would increase their league to a final score of 42-7. The last two touchdowns were scored by the JV patriots.
